Lightspeed is seeking a Field Implementation Consultant I to join their Paris-based team supporting Point of Sale (POS) solutions for the hospitality industry (restaurants, hotels, bars). This is a hybrid role combining on-site customer visits with remote support. You will be the technical bridge between Lightspeed and customers during their implementation journey. Key responsibilities include traveling to customer locations to install and configure POS hardware, troubleshooting networking devices (routers, wireless access points), and conducting on-site training sessions with business owners and staff. You'll guide customers through setup, integrations, and go-live processes, ensuring smooth transitions. For remote customers, you'll provide equivalent support via Zoom. Operationally, you'll document installation details, network schematics, and service records; coordinate scheduling with the Installation Coordinator to maximize efficiency; and report progress to your Team Lead. You'll represent Lightspeed as a company ambassador, building relationships that drive customer success and organic growth through word-of-mouth in the hospitality community. You'll collaborate closely with the Launch and Professional Services teams, including Field Sales, to ensure seamless pre- and post-sales customer onboarding. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, organizational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent implementation projects at different phases. Required qualifications: 2+ years of relevant professional experience, fluency in French and English, technical problem-solving mindset, and proven ability to troubleshoot customer technical issues. Hospitality industry experience and customer-facing delivery skills are highly valued. Nice-to-haves include POS/SaaS experience, networking fundamentals, and hardware installation background. Lightspeed offers full technical training for the right candidate. Benefits include equity ownership, flexible work environment, health & wellness credits (€400/year), mental health support, 60 days/year remote work eligibility, LinkedIn Learning access, volunteer time off, transit benefits, and lunch reimbursement for Paris office days.
