Salary: USD 95,000 - 108,000 / annual
Augury is seeking a Field Engineer to serve as the on-site technical representative for its Industrial AI platform. The role combines hands-on mechanical and electrical expertise with customer-facing professionalism to deploy, install, and support Augury's predictive and prescriptive AI solutions in manufacturing environments.
You will travel 80–90% of the time, primarily across the US but also internationally, to customer sites. Key responsibilities include installing and implementing Augury's hardware and services in industrial settings, conducting site surveys and technical scoping, training customers on system operation, and ensuring successful deployments. You'll partner with internal Reliability Systems Managers and external customers to optimize product performance and troubleshoot issues. Administrative duties include maintaining service reports, managing inventory, tracking assets, documenting activities in the CRM system, and responding to escalations.
The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years of hands-on experience installing or troubleshooting industrial controls, electromechanical systems, and/or wireless systems. You should have a strong understanding of rotating equipment operation and design, proven experience working safely in industrial environments, and excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A customer-first mindset, professional presence, and flexibility (including weekend availability) are essential. Vibration Analysis Category I or II certification is a plus.
Position requires residence in the Northeast or Midwest US within one hour of a major airport, valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check.
