Datadog's GTM Enablement team is seeking a Field Enablement Manager to deliver onboarding and ongoing enablement training for Sales and Customer Success teams across the AMER region. You'll serve as a trusted partner to Sales leaders, adapting global enablement programs to regional needs while maintaining alignment with the global Field Enablement organization.
Key responsibilities include delivering engaging live and virtual training sessions for new hires (both individual contributors and leaders) and ongoing reinforcement programs. You'll administer program certifications, scoring submissions against established rubrics and providing structured feedback. A critical part of the role involves conducting field listening through shadows, 1:1s, and syncs with first-line leaders to maintain visibility into business needs, gaps, and strengths across AMER markets. You'll share these insights with the broader enablement team to shape programs and priorities.
You'll lead reinforcement and coaching activities—including role plays, deal clinics, and skill practice sessions—designed to drive post-program adoption and connect training to measurable behavior change in real customer scenarios. Collaboration is central: you'll partner with Curriculum, Program Management, and Operations teams to share field insights and co-build content, while working closely with first-line Sales leaders to diagnose challenges and deliver ad hoc training in response to emerging needs.
The role leverages AI tools to accelerate delivery and reinforcement, including synthesizing field feedback and surfacing patterns. You'll model effective AI use for the teams you train.
You'll need 3–5 years of sales enablement, field enablement, training, or related GTM experience in a SaaS or technology environment. Strong facilitation skills are essential, with experience delivering engaging sessions to senior audiences and familiarity with sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Command of the Message, Challenger, Sandler, etc.). You should have strong business acumen, comfort using performance data and field feedback to inform decisions, and foundational knowledge of Datadog's core product pillars (Infrastructure, APM, Logs). Highly collaborative and relationship-oriented, you'll build trust quickly with sellers, managers, and cross-functional partners. You're organized, adaptable, and comfortable operating independently across a large, diverse region. Approximately 25% travel across AMER is required.
