Tenstorrent is seeking a Field Application Engineer to drive adoption of its AI platform by working directly with enterprise customers and the sales team. You will serve as a technical bridge between customers and the product organization, leveraging deep expertise in AI/ML to solve real-world problems, conduct technical presentations and workshops, and provide product feedback that shapes future enhancements.
The role combines customer-facing technical leadership with hands-on problem-solving. You will work with researchers, executives, and technical teams to translate complex AI concepts into actionable solutions. Your responsibilities include understanding customer technical challenges, demonstrating how Tenstorrent's solutions address those challenges, collaborating with sales and product teams, and gathering field insights to inform product roadmap decisions.
Tenstorrent has built a high-performance RISC-V CPU from scratch and is focused on unifying innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors to create a best-in-class AI platform. This is a remote role based out of Gdańsk, Poland. The company notes that candidates at various experience levels will be assessed during the interview process, and offers will align with the appropriate level.
**Requirements:**
- 5+ years of relevant technical, enterprise experience in roles such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven expertise in AI technologies and frameworks: machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
- Experience with embedded systems, FPGA architecture, or AI accelerators
- Good understanding of data center and server architecture, deployment, thermal/power considerations, and infrastructure management
- Background in AI/ML trenches (field engineering, solutions architecture, or similar hands-on technical roles)
