Anduril Industries is seeking a Factory Launch Execution Manager to drive the end-to-end execution of new manufacturing facility launches. This role is central to scaling Anduril's production capabilities and delivering on commitments to defense customers.
You will own day-to-day execution of factory launch playbooks across multiple production programs, serving as the primary interface between construction, production, and cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities include executing and maintaining detailed launch playbooks, coordinating handoffs from construction to production operations, tracking completion of all activities, identifying and escalating blockers, and driving resolution of issues that could impact launch timelines.
Key duties include leading tactical standup meetings and providing regular status updates to stakeholders; owning operational readiness testing (ORT) execution to validate systems, equipment, and processes before production handoff; maintaining detailed documentation of launch activities and lessons learned; and driving cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Construction teams.
You must have 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, or operations in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments, plus 2+ years managing complex multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, ability to work in fast-paced environments, and proficiency with project management tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) are essential. You must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include experience with new facility launches or factory startups, a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations Management, PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification, familiarity with construction management and facility commissioning, and experience in aerospace or defense industries with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO standards).
