Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Facilities Strategy & Operations Manager to lead the real estate and facilities strategy for the Frontier Systems division. This role owns the division's nationwide portfolio spanning office, R&D lab, test site, initial production, and full-rate production facilities.
Key responsibilities include managing short- and long-term space allocation across dozens of teams for office and prototyping lab space, translating engineering and production requirements into facility specifications for new builds, retrofits, and test sites. You will collaborate closely with Industrial Engineering, Production, and Test teams to ensure requirements are met. The role involves leading facility launches across Engineering, Production, Real Estate, and IT to ensure efficient move-ins, owning multi-year real estate forecasts, and determining timing and location of long-term investments.
You will manage the financial impact of the real estate portfolio on the division P&L, collaborate with the corporate real estate team on construction projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery, and execute special projects across finance, real estate, and facilities as they arise.
Required qualifications include 6-10 years of experience managing a real estate portfolio or in a manufacturing environment at a high-growth technology company. You must have proven experience designing and setting up new production lines or factories, from process mapping through infrastructure design and workstation design. Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects on time and on budget are essential. Technical proficiency with facility drawings, advanced Excel skills, and in-depth knowledge of construction means and methods are required. You must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
