As an Express Claims Advocate, you will manage, investigate, and resolve commercial general liability property damage claims with a focus on lower-complexity, fast-resolving cases. You'll evaluate insurance coverage based on claim reports, policies, investigations, and applicable statutes to determine coverage eligibility. Your responsibilities include communicating with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information, referring tasks to auxiliary resources as needed, and advising on proper courses of action. You will handle a high volume of claims while maintaining quality assurance standards and meeting performance goals. This role requires strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal abilities, analytical thinking, investigative capabilities, and negotiation skills. You'll work in a remote environment as part of an experienced claims team, ensuring customers' interests are protected while adhering to company claims philosophy and policies. Key responsibilities include managing claim investigations within your authority level, recommending resolutions for cases exceeding your authority to local claims management, responding to written and telephone inquiries with status reports, and complying with all statutory and regulatory requirements across applicable jurisdictions. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of claims handling experience, particularly with commercial general liability claims, strong customer service orientation with empathy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict deadlines. You must be Mac literate and able to promptly obtain a Texas Independent Adjuster License.
