Asana is seeking a Senior Experience Researcher to drive product-led growth (PLG) strategy and shape the adoption of new products including AI Teammates, Meetings, and Asana for Client Management (ACM). You will be a strategic partner across Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and business teams, translating customer behaviors and attitudes into actionable recommendations that influence roadmap decisions. Based in the Vancouver office with a 50/50 collaboration split between Vancouver and San Francisco teams, you will work closely with PLG Adoption teams, specifically the AI Activations (AIA) and Conversion and Retention (CoRe) teams. The role operates on an office-centric hybrid schedule: in-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; optional work-from-home Wednesday; Friday flexibility depends on team needs. In your first 4-5 months, you will partner with Adoption teams on Q4 roadmap priorities, building self-serve pathways for new product adoption. Over time, your remit will expand as additional products roll out. Key responsibilities include: partnering cross-functionally to uncover how users discover, try, and adopt new products; researching ACM adoption pathways and how AI teammates, Meetings, and client portals drive value; leading exploratory and evaluative research on new concepts and personalized experiences; identifying high-impact research needs for upcoming product launches; and connecting insights directly to business metrics including AI ARR growth, customer LTV, and NRR. You will help scale Asana's self-serve business by uncovering how to introduce users to products, encourage trials, drive adoption into daily workflows, and deepen usage over time. This is a pivotal role in defining product roadmap and evolving PLG adoption strategy. **Requirements:** - 6+ years of experience practicing UX Research for digital products with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects - Strong proficiency in mixed-methods research, combining qualitative deep-dives (contextual inquiry, prototype testing) with quantitative validation (survey design, behavioral data analysis) - Mature product judgment with ability to distill complex signal into clear, actionable deliverables that drive immediate decision-making - Strong organizational leadership and ability to manage multiple complex workstreams while building trust with senior stakeholders - Deep understanding of interaction design and content hierarchy to partner effectively with Design and Content Strategy - Persuasive communicator who influences product strategy through storytelling and evidence-based recommendations - Active experimentation with AI tools and emerging technologies, with willingness to leverage them to enhance productivity and decision-making
