Salary: USD 130,000 - 145,000 / annual

Knit is an AI-native research firm partnering with over 100 enterprises including Amazon, Mars, T-Mobile, Paramount, McCormick, and Nestle. The company recently closed Series B with $60M+ raised and currently has 80 employees based in NYC with US remote flexibility. The Executive Assistant to the CEO is responsible for maximizing CEO effectiveness by ensuring his time, commitments, communication, and logistics run seamlessly. The primary outcome is a CEO whose time and logistics are exceptionally and proactively well managed, enabling maximum focus on high-leverage work only he can do. The CEO's core ownership includes vision, talent, and finance—setting company direction, pressure-testing key hypotheses, recruiting exceptional people, developing leaders, and ensuring adequate capital. The ideal CEO day-to-day includes key interviews, time with direct reports and leaders, opening commercial doors, advancing major opportunities, and de-risking company-level bets. Key responsibilities include: - Own the CEO's calendar and time, managing and prioritizing meetings with strategic intent, protecting focus time, anticipating conflicts, and thinking several weeks ahead - Keep the CEO prepared with context, materials, agendas, and follow-ups for meetings and important commitments - Manage CEO logistics including travel, scheduling, expenses, reservations, and administrative details from start to finish - Coordinate key stakeholders as a highly responsive point of contact for executives, board members, investors, candidates, customers, and other important stakeholders - Stay ahead of commitments by tracking deadlines, follow-ups, and action items so nothing requiring CEO attention falls through the cracks - Support high-priority projects and events in partnership with the Chief of Staff, Head of Operations, Workplace Operations, and other leadership This role reports to the Chief of Staff and is part of the Office of the CEO team, which currently includes a Chief of Staff with 1-2 more hires slated for Q1 2027. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience supporting a CEO or founder in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, ideally at Series B stage - Understanding of startup velocity and ability to thrive under its demands, moving quickly and confidently even with incomplete information - Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills with ability to anticipate needs, see around corners, and solve problems before they reach the CEO - Clear, brief, professional, and responsive communication across internal and external stakeholders - Exceptional judgment and discretion, particularly with confidential information and founder privacy - Strong instincts for how the CEO should show up across every touchpoint (communications, meetings, travel, events, thank you notes) - Judgment reflecting the intersection of a high-growth technology company and enterprise brand: modern, entrepreneurial, polished, thoughtful, high-integrity, and never performative
