Braze is seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant to support the General Counsel and broader Legal team. The General Counsel is based in California, while this position is based in São Paulo, requiring consistent overlap with U.S. Pacific business hours.
This role sits at the center of a public-company legal function with regular exposure to privileged, confidential, pre-public, and material non-public information. Discretion is a core requirement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing calendars, appointments, and scheduling for the General Counsel and key legal staff across multiple time zones
- Supporting the General Counsel in their capacity as Corporate Secretary, including logistics for Board and committee meetings, coordinating material distribution, supporting Board requests, and maintaining corporate records
- Handling travel booking and expense reporting
- Tracking deliverables, deadlines, and follow-ups against the General Counsel's objectives
- Planning and coordinating departmental events, all-hands meetings, team events, and offsites
- Managing unscheduled requests with attention to detail, efficiency, and quality
- Performing confidential and complex administrative duties, including document preparation and formatting
- Assisting with project coordination, new hire onboarding, and other team duties as needed
Ideal candidates bring strong experience supporting senior executives in fast-paced environments, fluent English (written and verbal), and proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Experience with productivity and project management tools, corporate travel platforms (Navan, Concur), and exceptional organizational skills are essential. Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience supporting legal, compliance, or corporate secretary functions, and experience at publicly traded companies.
