Founded in May 2022 by insurtech veterans, the company focuses on automating manual tasks and improving efficiency for TPAs, insurance technology providers, and adjusters.
As Director of Excess Casualty Claims, you will lead a team of specialists handling high-severity commercial auto excess casualty claims that exceed primary policy limits. This is a critical leadership role combining deep casualty expertise with modern technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of claims specialists in processing complex excess casualty claims
- Ensure technical excellence, operational efficiency, and consistent delivery of Reserv's data-driven claims experience
- Maintain high quality standards and compliance with regulatory, internal, and external contractual SLAs
- Guide the team in leveraging automation for administrative tasks while focusing human expertise on complex decision-making
- Serve as a critical interface with internal teams, customers, and clients
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Deep technical expertise in commercial auto excess casualty claims, including coverage analysis, litigation management, and catastrophic injury evaluation
- Proven leadership experience managing high-performing claims teams
- Tech-oriented mindset excited by leveraging technology and analytics to drive efficiencies
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to balance detail-orientation and big-picture thinking
