Tremendous is a global platform enabling businesses to send payouts and gift cards to recipients worldwide. The company is profitable, fully remote, and brings its ~175-person team together twice yearly for company offsites at carefully curated destinations. You will own the end-to-end planning and execution of two major company-wide offsites annually, each hosting approximately 175 people. This includes creative vision, destination research, vendor selection, logistics management, budget oversight, and onsite execution. You'll research and select hotels, restaurants, activities, and entertainment that align with the company's values and create memorable experiences. Your responsibilities span the entire attendee journey: from initial announcements and travel guidance through arrival, daily programming, and departure. Beyond the two flagship offsites, you'll plan and execute smaller team gatherings throughout the year, including two go-to-market offsites, an annual engineering offsite, and occasional team-specific events. You'll also support other company events and special projects as needed. Key operational responsibilities include managing complex logistics (accommodations, transportation, vendors, meals, accessibility, contingency planning), stewarding a substantial event budget with judgment about where spending meaningfully improves the experience, and serving as the primary point of contact for the team. You'll communicate regularly with employees, answer questions, manage expectations, and gather feedback post-event to drive continuous improvement. The role requires balancing creative vision with operational excellence, thriving under pressure when issues arise, and translating business objectives into engaging experiences. You'll work in a fully remote, high-documentation culture with strong employee satisfaction. REQUIREMENTS: - 2+ years in internal event planning or similar role requiring substantial planning - Experience producing memorable, high-touch events - Clear, warm communicator who enjoys cross-company collaboration - Exceptional attention to detail - Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with ambiguity - Proactive problem identification and solution-seeking - Openness to feedback and continuous improvement
