Konfio, Mexico's leading fintech company serving over 100,000 SME customers, is seeking an Operational Collections Information Specialist to optimize and automate collections data processes. You will be responsible for end-to-end semi-automated data extraction and analysis to support strategic decision-making by the Operations team, while managing vendor and collections agency payments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize and automate collections information management and analysis processes from end-to-end, ensuring efficiency and scalability
• Manage the complete payment cycle for vendors and collections agencies: request provisions, generate purchase orders, review invoices, and update statuses to ensure policy compliance and timely disbursements
• Analyze and present key operational performance indicators and digital channel metrics (WhatsApp, SMS, email, dashboards), identifying trends and improvement opportunities
• Develop control panels summarizing critical information and collaborate on defining operational rules for automating collections data dashboards
You will have direct visibility with external BPOs and collections agencies, presenting KPI tracking and operational results. Your work will directly impact strategic solutions and improvements for the collections function. You'll be part of a hybrid Operations team in Mexico City that values cross-functional collaboration, critical thinking, and execution excellence.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting related to collections, credit risk, or payment process management
• Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related economic-administrative field
• Understanding of credit processes (risk or collections) with knowledge of the financial services or fintech sector
• Proficiency in databases and SQL/Aurora; expertise with data visualization and management tools (Tableau, Excel, Sheets, Salesforce, Business Objects)
• Essential knowledge of data mining and purchase order systems (NetSuite)
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, proactivity, negotiation skills, and execution-oriented mindset with grit
