Halter is an AgTech company revolutionizing livestock management through technology that enables farmers and ranchers to operate more productively and sustainably. The company's platform allows producers to manage large herds with minimal manual intervention—imagine 500 cattle moving calmly to their next pasture without ATVs, dogs, or fencing.
As a Customer Implementation Specialist for South America, you will be one of the first Halter team members in the region, establishing local presence and defining how Halter implementations work for producers across Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil. You will lead end-to-end onboarding of new farms: training animals and farm teams, troubleshooting in the field, and supporting producers through their first weeks with the platform.
The role is heavily field-based (approximately 70% time on-site at farms, 30% office-based) with frequent travel across three countries. You will work directly with ranchers and producers at their estancias, fazendas, and rural operations, building the onboarding experience that will serve as the foundation for all future regional customers.
Key responsibilities include: leading implementations from sales handoff through transition to general customer support; traveling to farms for in-person implementation; conducting tailored training sessions; serving as the primary client contact during implementation; collaborating with Sales, Support, Product, and Operations teams across countries; managing project timelines and resources; rapidly solving problems and adapting plans as conditions change; identifying field patterns and sharing learnings with Product to shape regional product development; and ensuring clients have the confidence and knowledge for long-term success.
You will work with high autonomy and responsibility. Each farm is different, requiring you to adapt implementations to help producers confidently adopt Halter. Your on-the-ground perspective on what works and what local producers truly need will directly influence how the company builds product and operations for South America, ensuring Halter responds to the realities of South American livestock management rather than applying a model designed for another market.
