Pronto AI is a global leader in autonomous vehicle technology, deploying Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) that automate mining, quarrying, and construction operations worldwide. Unlike much of the industry still in R&D, Pronto delivers production-ready autonomy solutions already operating in the field.
This role operates, monitors, and optimizes AHS from a control room, managing routes, dynamic paths, and exclusion zones. You'll track fleet performance, analyze telemetry data and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize transport cycles. You'll assist with software troubleshooting and network configuration, communicating directly with engineering teams.
Responsibilities include preparing detailed technical reports on system performance and operational incidents, helping the development team identify bugs and propose improvements, and developing/maintaining complete technical documentation for AHS operations on-site. Safety is paramount—you'll follow strict protocols (Stop Work Authority) to maintain a zero-risk environment.
You'll work on-site in a large-scale mining operation with shift availability for 24/7 coverage, operating across multiple environments: offices, maintenance workshops, control rooms, and field operations.
Required: Technical or bachelor's degree in Mining, Electrical, Automation, Computing, Electronics, or related fields. Prior experience in mine operations, mine planning, dispatch systems, or autonomous transport systems. Deep knowledge of technology project implementation (automation, IT, instrumentation). Willingness to relocate to Curionópolis or Parauapebas, PA. Valid category B driver's license. Advanced Office Suite proficiency and comfort with Linux systems.
Desirable: Industrial wireless network architecture (LTE, Starlink, RTK), embedded systems in mining, advanced English for international team communication, and experience maintaining electrical/electronic systems and instrumentation on heavy or industrial machinery.
