Salary: USD 87,000 - 116,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Associate Manager to lead and oversee EHS compliance efforts at a defense manufacturing facility in Mississippi. This role bridges regulatory compliance, operational safety, and risk management for a cutting-edge defense technology company. Key responsibilities include managing all environmental permitting and testing initiatives, serving as the primary liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies (DEQ, EPA), and ensuring compliance with EPA's Risk Management Program (RMP). You will establish and maintain waste management protocols, develop safety procedures and permits, conduct comprehensive safety inspections, and lead environmental and safety compliance audits with corrective action follow-through. The role requires hazard identification and risk assessment in operational areas, incident trend analysis, safety training delivery, and field performance assessments. You will provide on-site health and safety compliance support and coordinate across the organization to maintain adherence to all applicable EHS and defense standards. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in EHS or related field, 3+ years implementing and overseeing EHS programs in manufacturing environments, demonstrated audit and inspection capabilities, strong knowledge of local/state/federal EHS regulations, experience obtaining environmental permits, and expertise in hazard communication and incident investigations. Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information. Preferred experience includes work at PSM/RMP-regulated facilities, energetics manufacturing, and familiarity with EPA, OSHA, DEQ, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
