Gecko Robotics is seeking an Enterprise Security Engineer to build and operate shared systems protecting people, devices, applications, and sensitive data. You will join the InfoSec Engineering team, partnering closely with IT Engineering to focus on workforce endpoint and device security, identity security, SaaS and OAuth governance, enterprise detections, and regulated data protection. Key responsibilities include building and operating endpoint-management, device-compliance, browser-security, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) controls; hardening workforce devices and shared enterprise systems. You will own and improve identity security through Okta policies, MFA, Conditional Access, and lifecycle controls, while establishing practical governance for SaaS applications, OAuth access, browser extensions, and AI tools. You will create clear, usable paths for employees to adopt approved AI tooling and emerging technologies while protecting regulated and sensitive data. Working closely with IT Engineering, you will translate security requirements into effective configurations and workflows, reducing friction and making controls easy to operate. Additional responsibilities include building and tuning enterprise detections, evaluating alerts and control gaps, leading corporate-side incident response, and making proportionate risk decisions. You will partner with Product Security, Cloud Infrastructure, IT, and Facilities when enterprise-security concerns intersect with applications, cloud services, engineering systems, or physical security. You will establish governance for AI tool adoption and other rapidly emerging workplace technologies, ensuring security, privacy, and compliance requirements are met. Travel up to 20% is expected. Required: 3+ years in Enterprise Security Engineering or related hands-on security role; hands-on experience with endpoint management and EDR solutions in production; experience administering IAM platforms (SSO, MFA, lifecycle management); experience evaluating and governing SaaS applications and OAuth integrations; experience with regulated or sensitive data (CUI, HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2); strong systems configuration and operational ownership skills; ability to balance security with business needs and UX; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred: experience governing AI tools; background in government, defense, critical infrastructure, or regulated industries; experience with CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, Okta, Microsoft Intune, or Jamf; experience with DLP, CASB, or browser security; scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash); startup or high-growth team experience.
