Camber builds software to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare by streamlining and replacing manual work so clinicians can focus on patient care. The company has raised $50M from top-tier investors including a16z, Craft Ventures, and Y Combinator.
You will own a named account list of enterprise specialty care operators (multi-site ABA, physical therapy, and ENT groups, many private equity-backed) and work them from cold outreach through to qualified sales conversations. Your enterprise buyers are CFOs, COOs, and VPs of revenue cycle—skeptical of AI vendors and typically convinced their revenue cycle is already functioning well.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and strategically prioritize a named account list with defensible rationale for sequencing
- Build and maintain live account plans tracking sponsor ownership, site count, payer mix, recent acquisitions, buying committee maps, and hypotheses about account fit
- Multi-thread into buying committees across finance, operations, and revenue cycle, including private equity sponsors
- Write compelling outreach to senior executives and identify the right route in (direct, referrals, events, sponsor introductions)
- Conduct first conversations and carry accounts through to qualified handoff with enterprise AEs
- Maintain detailed records in HubSpot, including qualitative account work
- Provide feedback to marketing on what messaging and verticals are resonating
This is not a volume seat. You will work a curated list properly with an AE waiting on the other side. Marketing provides paid, content, and event coverage on the same accounts, but the highest-value accounts require your strategic outbound work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4–6 years in outbound, business development, or account development, selling into complex buying committees
- Proven experience owning named account lists as strategy (not queue-based), with ability to articulate prioritization rationale
- Track record of cold outbound to senior finance/operations executives on long sales cycles without inbound signal
- Strong writing skills (critical to role; writing exercise required)
- Comfort with financial language: EBITDA, DSO, cost to collect, contracted dollar
- Fluent use of AI tooling as a builder (research, prioritization, drafting at scale)
- Working knowledge of modern GTM stack: HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay or similar
- Comfort with long sales cycles (some accounts take 6+ months to open)
NICE TO HAVE:
- Healthcare, revenue cycle, or provider-side experience
- Experience selling into PE portfolio companies or working with sponsors
- Multi-site or franchise operator exposure
- Early or first commercial hire experience
