Clear Street is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives supporting the company's global growth strategy.
In this role, you will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Business, Operations, and senior stakeholders to drive execution across multiple teams. Key responsibilities include providing end-to-end oversight for large-scale engineering and business initiatives, breaking down complex projects into clear phases and milestones, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment on priorities. You will identify risks and blockers early, bring the right stakeholders together to resolve them, and provide consistent, transparent updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
You will balance speed of delivery with strategic business goals, technical quality, and operational readiness. The role requires translating strategic objectives into executable plans, removing blockers, improving delivery processes, and ensuring critical initiatives are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Required qualifications include 10+ years of experience in project management, technical project management, change management, or operational excellence. You must have a proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Product, Business, and Operations teams, with demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale projects with multiple workstreams and dependencies.
Strong technical fluency, business judgment, and stakeholder management skills are essential. You should excel at translating strategic business goals into structured execution plans with clear milestones, risks, and measurable outcomes. Excellent communication skills and experience reporting to senior leadership are required.
Experience in financial services, capital markets, brokerage, clearing, custody, or prime brokerage is highly valued. Domain knowledge across front office, middle office, back office, and post-trade workflows is a significant advantage.
