Eight Sleep is seeking a Hardware Engineering Program Manager to lead the development of innovative sleep fitness products from concept through mass production. You will manage hardware product development programs, establish clear program objectives with senior leadership, and balance schedule against risk. The role requires navigating cross-functional engineering teams to ensure alignment on risks, challenges, and results across multiple disciplines and business units.
Key responsibilities include: leading execution of hardware development programs; building alignment with senior leaders on program objectives and execution strategies; coordinating project teams to ensure optimal resource allocation; communicating across engineering disciplines and business functions; championing best practices and processes for scalable product development; and advocating for product quality to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
You will work 5 days per week from the San Francisco office and may travel to China as needed for manufacturing and supplier coordination.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 3+ years of program management experience, proven track record of successful product launches, strong cross-functional communication skills, and willingness to travel internationally.
