Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an Engineering Program Manager for Actuation Systems. This role is central to driving the development of complex electromechanical systems and integrated hardware products. You will serve as the liaison between engineering development teams and cross-functional stakeholders, responsible for establishing milestones, defining product roadmaps, and ensuring successful program execution.
Key responsibilities include: representing and building program culture while interacting across all Anduril teams; establishing key milestones and targets to define the product roadmap with deep understanding of affected teams and technical architecture; evaluating and prioritizing tasks using data-driven approaches informed by stakeholder input; executing various tasks to keep the program on track and de-risk the roadmap; communicating engineering strategy and vision to manage expectations and address risks; and collaborating closely with design engineering, finance, logistics, EHS, manufacturing, supply chain, testing, legal, technical operations, business strategy, and production teams.
You will need 10+ years as a Technical Program Manager driving hardware or integrated product development projects, with demonstrated experience managing complex electromechanical systems including motors, actuators, drive systems, gears, bearings, gearboxes, PCBAs, sensors, and engines. Additionally, 4+ years of mechanical systems hardware experience with emphasis on drive systems, turbojet engines, or electromechanical assemblies is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, aptitude for cross-functional stakeholder engagement, comfort with data and complex analyses, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance are essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience with visual design tools, technical familiarity with high-performance drive systems and motion control design considerations, understanding of power electronics and control systems relevant to actuation, and awareness of technological advancements in these areas.
