As Engineering Manager for the Provisioning team, you will lead a group of talented engineers building and extending an automated provisioning platform that manages 200+ Kubernetes clusters. This platform enables both technical and non-technical teams to create and delete development and test environments on demand. You will own complex technical projects, manage team deliverables, contribute to platform vision and strategy, and develop your engineers' careers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Actively participating in technical discussions and design reviews
- Taking a data-driven approach to measure team impact and user outcomes
- Understanding internal team needs and identifying solutions
- Contributing to platform vision aligned with engineering and business goals
- Participating in engineering-wide initiatives (recruitment, processes)
- Developing engineers and supporting their career growth
- Leading by example through code reviews and hands-on technical work
- Championing industry best practices and emerging trends

REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- 2+ years of engineering management experience in platform teams
- Experience in cloud-native environments with modern technology stacks (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure, golang/python)
- Strong technical background to drive technical decisions and excellent interpersonal skills for user communication
- Comfort with evolving Engineering Manager responsibilities as team needs change
- Experience developing platforms and tools used by other engineers (internal or external)
Desirable:
- Experience working in or managing internal platform teams
- Track record recruiting and shaping engineering teams
- Active role in defining and evaluating team processes
- Experience in hyper-growth environments
