Salary: USD 80,000 - 95,000 / annual
BETA Technologies is seeking an Engineering Change Planner to support the production ramp of electric aircraft. This role bridges engineering and operations, managing the lifecycle of design changes from conception through manufacturing implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitate coordination of new engineering designs for aircraft systems across cross-functional teams
- Communicate material and inventory requirements to operations, procurement, and production planning teams
- Manage product lifecycle in ERP systems, tracking changes from ideation through implementation
- Define scope and create documentation for change management and implementation processes
- Act as a change analyst supporting procurement and production planning workflows
- Maintain and optimize ERP systems to improve production processes and enhance manufacturing capability
The ideal candidate holds a STEM or Business degree (Operations focus) and has hands-on experience with PLM systems (Smarteam, 3DX, Siemens) and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Epicor). Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with comfort in dynamic, fast-paced environments where priorities shift frequently.
Preferred qualifications include 2+ years in aerospace manufacturing, engineering background or technical knowledge, Plex ERP experience, and exposure to rapid manufacturing growth or startup environments.
