Scale AI is hiring an Engagement Manager to lead delivery of agentic AI workflows for a U.S. national security customer based in Omaha. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days per week onsite with the customer and approximately 25% travel.
You will own or support a large account plan, manage day-to-day execution, and ensure exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include managing customer relationships across executive and end-user levels, scoping agentic workflow use cases with customers that Scale's engineering team will build, leading cross-functional project teams to deliver AI/ML objectives, proactively identifying customer needs and operator pain points, and overseeing account onboarding and implementation.
The role demands a blend of program leadership, customer relationship building, technical fluency, and contract awareness in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment. You will work with customers to refine solutions and maintain a "whatever-it-takes" mentality to ensure success.
Required qualifications include an active TS/SCI security clearance, 5+ years of experience in stakeholder management or customer-facing roles delivering enterprise-scale applications, a track record of structured analytics-driven problem solving, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of professional experience (often in customer-facing technical program management in industry or government), prior experience at API technology companies, a technical degree in computer science or engineering, proficiency in Python/SQL or other programming languages, and domain expertise in relevant fields such as modeling/simulation, joint planning processes, or intelligence workflows.
Scale AI develops reliable AI systems for critical decisions, providing high-quality data and full-stack technologies powering leading models. The company works with industry leaders and U.S. government agencies including the Army and Air Force.
