EliseAI is a Series E-funded AI company building agentic AI solutions for housing and healthcare. The Future Platforms team is executing on next-generation products, operating as a startup-within-a-startup with founder-level ownership and deep C-suite involvement.
As an Engagement Lead for Accounting, you will own the end-to-end delivery of EliseAI's accounting platform from initial deployment through full operational adoption. You'll serve as the primary driver of successful implementations across multiple concurrent client engagements, working directly with Controllers, CFOs, and accounting teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own accounting engagement success end-to-end: drive the accounting portion of multiple concurrent engagements from late-stage sales handoff through post-launch stabilization, ensuring accuracy and operational readiness.
- Lead accounting discovery, scoping, and decisioning: partner with senior accounting stakeholders to understand current workflows and define future-state processes. Drive critical implementation decisions including bank account onboarding, vendor workflows, chart of accounts structure, and transaction design.
- Own configuration and implementation: lead hands-on accounting setup including COA configuration, vendor and entity setup, and transaction mapping. Manage detailed client interactions to gather, validate, and refine data inputs.
- Drive migration and post-launch success: ensure full readiness for data migration and system cutover. Lead post-launch activities including reconciliations, workflow stabilization, and clean financial data transitions.
- Enable adoption and training: run trainings and demos for accounting teams, ensuring confidence in the new system and identifying adoption blockers early.
- Build scalable systems and playbooks: turn implementation learnings into repeatable processes and best practices. Partner with Product and Engineering to surface gaps and improve accounting workflows.
This is a highly cross-functional, execution-heavy role at the intersection of accounting, product, and customer success. You'll operate with full autonomy, no micromanagement, and have the opportunity to define how accounting implementations scale at a high-growth AI company.
