Salary: USD 111,000 - 147,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to design, deploy, and support endpoint solutions across manufacturing environments. This role bridges IT and OT (operational technology), ensuring desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and factory stations are secure, reliable, and optimized for mission-critical operations.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining endpoint management platforms (Intune, Workspace One, IGEL, Jamf Pro) for enterprise and factory environments; owning software distribution, patch management, and OS deployment; ensuring manufacturing floor devices meet compliance, security, and performance standards; troubleshooting endpoint incidents and escalating as needed; partnering with Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, and Manufacturing Operations teams; monitoring endpoint health and performance with reporting; contributing to endpoint security policies and device hardening; and documenting configurations and support processes.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience); 3–5 years as an Endpoint Engineer, Systems Administrator, or Client Platform Engineer; proven expertise with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, Workspace One, Jamf Pro, or similar); strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems and deployment processes; familiarity with endpoint security best practices and compliance frameworks; strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise or factory environments; excellent cross-functional communication; and experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Preferred qualifications include Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator or Jamf Certified credentials; experience setting up factory kiosk machines; exposure to OT/manufacturing line endpoints; familiarity with hybrid or cloud-based solutions (Entra ID, Intune); experience with virtual desktop technologies (AWS/Azure); and mobile technology experience (iPads, Zebra Scanners).
