TNC FieldWorks is the union field services division supporting America's existing nuclear fleet and broader energy industry with specialized maintenance, outage execution, and workforce solutions.
The Manager, Electrical FieldWorks is responsible for building, leading, and growing FieldWorks' electrical capabilities. This role combines deep electrical expertise with crew development, customer leadership, and field execution. You will work closely with customers, union halls, field personnel, and company leadership to identify critical skill needs, build high-performing crews, and establish a dependable pipeline of technical talent.
Key responsibilities include:
Field Operations & Technical Leadership: Lead planning, coordination, and oversight of electrical maintenance, testing, installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, power distribution, outage, and specialty project work. Provide technical leadership ensuring work meets safety standards, customer requirements, plant procedures, industry best practices, and applicable electrical codes. Partner with customers and internal teams to define project scopes, technical requirements, staffing needs, schedules, and execution strategies. Serve as a trusted electrical subject matter expert supporting planning, workforce readiness, and resolution of complex field and equipment challenges. Support proposal development, technical estimating, bid preparation, and execution planning.
Crew & Technical Capability Development: Build and develop high-performing electrical crews by identifying required technical skills, experience, and leadership capabilities. Assess workforce capabilities, identify critical skill gaps, and develop strategies to build and deploy skilled union craft and specialty technical teams for complex maintenance, testing, commissioning, outage, and project work across nuclear, power generation, and energy-adjacent markets.
