Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company develops autonomous systems powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that integrates thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command and control centers. Anduril Australia is developing unmanned systems for subsurface and other domains leveraging unsupervised autonomy for long-endurance, multi-mission capability. The Extra Large Autonomous Undersea Vehicle (XL-AUV) Program and related projects require a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep electrical system design experience to architect and deliver critical systems and sub-systems throughout the entire product lifecycle. In this role, you will: - Drive development and design of innovative electrical systems and products meeting unique customer requirements - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate electrical systems into larger product designs - Translate business objectives into clear electrical engineering deliverables - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements throughout the product development lifecycle - Perform detailed electrical calculations, simulations, and testing to evaluate system performance and optimize efficiency - Troubleshoot complex electrical engineering challenges and provide innovative solutions in a rapid development environment - Manage project timelines, milestones, and budgets to achieve successful outcomes - Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation - Stay current with latest advancements in electrical engineering and apply new knowledge to improve products REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field - Expertise in electrical engineering principles, techniques, and technologies with a track record of delivering innovative solutions - Proficiency in industry-standard electrical design and simulation software - Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and mentor junior engineers - Strong time management and organizational abilities with demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget - Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively and adapt to diverse challenges - Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Familiarity with fast-paced environment best practices including agility and adaptability - Passion for technology and curiosity to stay updated with latest industry advancements - Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government Security Clearance (NV2)
