Voyager Technologies is seeking a Document Control Specialist to establish, implement, and maintain effective control of documented information in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. This role ensures all documents are properly created, reviewed, approved, distributed, and archived to support operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and quality management system (QMS) effectiveness. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing document control procedures aligned with ISO 9001:2015 Clause 7.5 (Documented Information). Key responsibilities include ensuring all documents are reviewed and approved prior to issue, controlling distribution and access, preventing unintended use of obsolete documents, and maintaining document registers and revision histories. You will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, ensuring documentation supports process effectiveness across departments. This includes assisting in internal and external audits by providing accurate and traceable documentation, identifying gaps, and recommending process improvements. Document lifecycle management is central to this role—you will manage the full lifecycle of documents including creation, revision, approval, distribution, and archiving. You'll ensure proper version control and traceability of all engineering, quality, and project documents while standardizing templates, formats, and numbering systems. Coordination and communication are essential. You will liaise with engineering, quality, operations, procurement, and project teams to ensure timely document submission and approval. You'll provide training and guidance to staff on document control procedures and coordinate with external stakeholders regarding document requirements. You will administer and maintain document management systems (DMS/EDMS), ensure data integrity and security, and generate reports on document control performance. Success is measured by document accuracy and revision control compliance rates, timeliness of processing, audit findings, user compliance, and reduction in obsolete document usage. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Information Management, or related field, plus 3–7 years of experience in document control within engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments. Experience working within an ISO 9001-certified organization is required.
