Isar Aerospace is seeking a Director of Value Stream to lead end-to-end industrial execution of the company's launch vehicle program. This is a strategic operational leadership role responsible for transforming innovative engineering designs into repeatable, scalable production systems capable of delivering safe, reliable, and commercially competitive launch vehicles.
The Director Value Stream owns the operational strategy, manufacturing systems, industrialization, supply chain, production, testing, quality, and assembly integration. Working closely with the Chief Engineer and Programme Manager, you will be accountable for achieving programme cost, schedule, quality, delivery, and operational readiness objectives while building the manufacturing capability required to scale from development through serial production and commercial launch operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Operational Leadership: Lead all operational functions across manufacturing, industrialization, supply chain, production, quality, testing, and launch operations. Develop and execute the company's industrial strategy to support rapid business growth. Build a world-class aerospace manufacturing organization capable of scaling from prototype to high-rate production. Establish operational excellence, Lean manufacturing, digital manufacturing, and continuous improvement across the business.
Programme Delivery: Own operational delivery of the launch vehicle programme including manufacturing readiness, supply chain execution, production planning and execution, quality assurance and testing, and launch operations readiness.
This role requires deep expertise in aerospace manufacturing, industrial strategy, and scaling production operations. The successful candidate will have a track record of building manufacturing capabilities in high-complexity environments and driving operational excellence across large, cross-functional teams.
