Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 / annual
Infleqtion is seeking an experienced Director of U.S. Facilities to lead strategy, operations, and development of its growing U.S. facilities portfolio across four existing locations (Louisville, Boulder, Chicago, Madison) and future sites. The role supports advanced work in quantum computing, sensing, and precision technology, including laboratories, technical workspaces, offices, and secure environments.
Key responsibilities include leading U.S. facilities operations to ensure laboratories and workspaces are safe, reliable, and business-ready; leading and developing the facilities team across multiple locations with clear accountability and talent development; owning construction and capital programs from requirements through execution and closeout, managing internal resources and external partners; scaling facilities systems and operations including preventive maintenance, work-order management, asset tracking, SOPs, emergency response, and business continuity; leading real estate, space, and capacity planning with forward-looking site strategy and lease management; owning Safety, EHS, and physical security programs including environmental compliance, emergency preparedness, access control, and secure-area protocols; and managing operating and capital budgets, forecasts, contracts, and vendor relationships.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of progressive facilities, operations, or construction experience with significant team leadership and complex facilities management. Required qualifications include demonstrated success managing multi-site operations, strong people leadership with team development track record, excellent program-management skills (scope definition, planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk identification, stakeholder coordination), experience leading major construction and capital programs, ability to develop and scale facilities systems and processes, working knowledge of building infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, life-safety systems), Safety and EHS expertise with regulatory compliance knowledge, strong financial and commercial judgment, and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Preferred experience includes semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defense, laboratory, R&D, or technically complex environments; secure, controlled, classified, or restricted-access facilities; supporting significant organizational growth and facility expansion; and relevant certifications in facilities, safety, construction, engineering, or project management. Limited travel to other U.S. locations is required.
