Salary: USD 235,000 - 334,000 / annual
Intuit seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing for Technology to lead a high-impact organization managing a multi-billion-dollar technology vendor portfolio across Cloud, Software, Hardware, Telecom, Engineering & Technology Services. Reporting to the VP of Stock, Treasury & Procurement, you will oversee approximately 50 FTEs and Contract Workers while managing relationships with nearly 900 suppliers.
Key responsibilities include owning end-to-end category strategy and execution across Media, Agency, Events, Content Production, Facilities, Professional Services, Contingent Labor, and Benefits. You will design and implement data-driven sourcing strategies that balance cost, speed, quality, and innovation, while leading complex global negotiations focused on total value and supplier risk mitigation. As a trusted commercial advisor to VP+ stakeholders and senior leaders, you will manage and optimize strategic supplier relationships to drive innovation and accountability.
You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, building organizational capabilities in category management and strategic sourcing. The role emphasizes leveraging analytics, automation, and modern sourcing tools to enhance visibility and decision speed. You will define and implement process improvements that reduce cycle time, deliver efficiency gains, and ensure policy compliance.
Required qualifications include 12+ years of progressive strategic sourcing or commercial leadership experience, with 5+ years managing high-performing teams. You must demonstrate expertise in strategic sourcing with strong financial acumen and experience leading complex, high-value negotiations. The ideal candidate has championed AI and automation across sourcing functions, possesses a strategic and global mindset, and exhibits excellent executive communication skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders. Digital fluency, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset are essential.
