Precision for Medicine seeks a Director of Project Management for Oncology to lead clinical trial project management across a global platform. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on people leadership, managing a team of Project Directors and Project Managers while ensuring the successful delivery of clinical study projects. Key responsibilities include directing and managing project teams in planning, execution, and governance of clinical programs; serving as the primary escalation point for study sponsors; optimizing profitability and resource allocation; and selecting, training, and developing project leadership talent. You will provide technical guidance on scope definition, risk management, resource planning, and regulatory compliance. The role involves identifying and escalating project impacts, conducting evaluations and implementing changes (including mid-project recovery of at-risk projects), and measuring/reporting KPIs for continuous improvement. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development on opportunity development, proposals, budgeting, and bid defense. Additional responsibilities include managing project/program interdependencies, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, and providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback to direct reports. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science or health-related field (advanced degree preferred); 10+ years clinical research experience with extensive project management and line management; working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and clinical development processes. Required skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Preferred: Advanced degree and experience managing complex global trials. Essential competencies include project management expertise, global cross-functional environment experience, proven people management, strategic planning, risk and change management, strong analytical skills, executive presence, high integrity, and results-oriented mindset.
