Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company's Lattice OS is an AI-powered operating system that converts thousands of data streams into real-time, 3D command and control centers. The Director, Production Analytics owns production analytics globally across all sites, product lines, and production functions including Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and Warehousing/Material Management. The role's core ambition is enabling division leaders to predict whether they will hit production rate before missing it, and ensuring investment decisions are settled by data rather than presentation quality. This is a player-coach role where you will lead the hardest analytical problems on the company's most critical programs while building a team to run several more in parallel. You will be judged on accomplishments: whether a program hit rate that would otherwise have slipped, whether a constraint was cleared because it was seen coming, whether numbers leadership used for real decisions came from your team. Key responsibilities include: applying analytics to production's biggest problems and holding an evidence-backed view of priorities rather than working a request list; shifting production reporting from retrospective to leading by surfacing risk two months before gates; generalizing proven capabilities into enterprise standards and consolidating duplicated reporting; owning the analytical side of ramping from low rate to high rate while tracking binding constraints; leading the consolidated analytics organization and building on the production process rather than beside it; and ensuring numbers the business can trust by treating known metric errors as defects with owners and dates. The role requires strong SQL and modern data stack proficiency to personally get into datasets, find answers, and defend methods. You must be able to influence business unit and functional leadership peer-to-peer without authority and work credibly with initially unconvinced program teams. REQUIREMENTS: - 10+ years in analytics, data, or quantitative operations, including 5+ years leading analytics or data teams, with experience managing managers or clear readiness to do so - Rigorous, teachable approach to ambiguous problems; ability to describe decision-making process, analysis structure, error detection, and team methodology installation - Genuinely hands-on with strong SQL and modern data stack; able to personally get into datasets, find answers, and defend methods - Demonstrated ability to identify highest-value problems in messy operational environments and solve them analytically - Track record with specific operational outcomes your work caused, including numbers, programs, and skeptics named - Experience shipping analytics as supported products with real users and retiring what they replace - Ability to influence business unit and functional leadership peer-to-peer without authority - Must be eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance; U.S. person status required per ITAR/EAR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Operational depth in manufacturing, supply chain, or planning, including fluency with routings, work orders, MRP exceptions, and cycle counts - Analytical ownership of production ramp from low rate to high rate - Experience building analytics function from scattered starting point, consolidating people, standards, and tooling under separate owners - Databricks and Palantir Foundry experience; dimensional modeling and semantic or ontology layers - High-rate or high-mix manufacturing, defense production, or similar high-volume scaling environment
