Ontra is seeking a Director of Product Operations to lead and transform operational processes within the Build organization. Reporting to the SVP of Product, you will oversee the Operations team and drive the evolution toward an AI-native operating model.
Key responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop the Operations team, including hiring a strategic team member to build out AI-native capabilities. You'll set the vision and culture for the team while ensuring smooth transitions and backfill.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to refine organizational rituals, processes, and ways of working that enhance collaboration and execution.
- Process & Playbook Development: Own the end-to-end process, playbooks, and tools for developing and launching new products, as well as enhancing existing software offerings. This includes designing planning cadences, roadmapping frameworks, goal-setting systems, and learning rituals.
- AI Integration: Lead the organization's transformation to be AI-native by rethinking critical processes such as customer feedback capture, release management, and operational workflows. Develop and implement AI-driven tools to improve efficiency.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Establish and manage critical touchpoints between the Build organization and GTM and G&A departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
You bring 7+ years of operations leadership experience, with at least 2 years in a Head of role. You excel at orchestrating cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Engineering, Data), designing operating rhythms and planning systems, and navigating strategic ambiguity by translating broad mandates into clear, actionable strategies. You communicate effectively with both teams and executives, simplifying complex information and driving alignment.
