Amperesand is building next-generation power infrastructure systems for data centers, EV charging platforms, and future energy applications. The company develops intelligent, software-defined power infrastructure products leveraging advanced medium voltage solid-state transformer technology.
You will serve as Director of Product Compliance, leading the company's compliance department and owning all compliance activity across Amperesand's solid-state transformer platforms. This is a hands-on department leadership role where you are accountable for the full compliance program, including electrical safety, functional safety, cybersecurity, EMC/EMI, and certification execution, as well as for the people who deliver it.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evolving, building, and leading Amperesand's compliance department
- Guiding the company through the certification process from inception through authorization to mark
- Managing electrical safety, functional safety, cybersecurity, and EMC/EMI compliance
- Overseeing certification execution and regulatory approvals
- Building and managing a compliance team
- Ensuring customers and regulators can trust the company's products
This is a high-visibility role requiring deep expertise in power infrastructure compliance, regulatory frameworks, and team leadership. You will work across engineering, product, and operations to embed compliance into product development cycles and ensure all systems meet global standards for power infrastructure equipment.
