OpenLoop is a telehealth platform that powers virtual care delivery at scale across all 50 states. The Pharmacy Operations & Supply Chain function manages the end-to-end journey from prescription to patient delivery, coordinating across 20+ fulfillment partners, demand forecasting, network capacity, and supply continuity. As Director of Pharmacy Supply Chain, you will lead this function day-to-day and build the operating model to support rapid scaling. The role spans three core areas: Systems & Formulary, Demand & Supply Planning, and Network & Fulfillment Operations. You'll manage a team of managers, leads, and analysts. Key responsibilities include: establishing a formal sales & operations planning (S&OP) cadence (currently reactive and manual), ensuring fulfillment partners and procurement receive reliable forward-looking demand visibility, leading and developing a multidisciplinary team to reduce key-person risk, hardening pharmacy operational processes built during rapid growth, partnering deeply with Product and Engineering to replace manual workarounds with scalable infrastructure, building documentation and reference systems to enable self-service across partner teams, owning service-level agreements and routing outcomes across the fulfillment network, managing forecast accuracy and inventory optimization with Finance, identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, ensuring compliance readiness for cGMP and state board audits, coordinating operational readiness for new products and regulatory changes, and championing automation opportunities. You've successfully rebuilt a function running on heroics into something durable without stopping the business. You have 8+ years in supply chain, operations, or production management with 4+ years leading teams (managing managers or leads). You've scaled a high-volume operation through rapid growth in mail-order/specialty pharmacy, fulfillment, distribution, or regulated manufacturing. You have strong command of demand and supply planning and have personally built a planning cadence. You excel at standing up operating structure, documentation, and repeatable process from scratch. You have a track record partnering with Product or Engineering on operational tooling and can specify requirements and drive build priorities. You communicate effectively across technical, operational, clinical, and finance audiences and thrive in fast-moving, flat-structure environments. Preferred: 503A compounding pharmacy, pharmacy/healthcare/regulated-industry background (503B, PBM, mail-order Rx, cGMP), familiarity with pharmacy management systems and order-routing/API integration, cold-chain or temperature-controlled fulfillment experience, continuous-improvement or Lean background.
