Salary: USD 190,000 - 240,000 / annual

As Director of Operations – Real Estate (West), you will lead the operational strategy for CLEAR's airport infrastructure portfolio across the western region. This is a strategic leadership role overseeing portfolio governance, capital planning, and cross-functional execution of airport development initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning strategy, governance, and execution of the airport infrastructure and real estate portfolio across assigned regions, ensuring investments align with business priorities and long-term growth
- Leading portfolio planning and capital allocation through the Leasehold Improvement Request (LIR) process, establishing investment priorities, and driving executive alignment on funding and sequencing
- Establishing portfolio management standards, governance frameworks, reporting, and performance metrics that provide visibility into project health, financial performance, risks, and timelines
- Partnering with Real Estate & Development, Facilities Operations, Finance, Aviation Operations, and Executive Leadership to resolve competing priorities and ensure successful execution
- Identifying process improvements, standardizing project delivery, and optimizing capital investments while building scalable operating models for airport expansion
Success is measured by on-time delivery of airport infrastructure initiatives against budget and schedule, accuracy and visibility in portfolio reporting, effectiveness of capital planning and investment prioritization, and cross-functional alignment across teams.
You excel at leading large, complex infrastructure and real estate portfolios across multiple stakeholders, developing governance and operating models that drive strategic decision-making, influencing senior leaders without direct authority, balancing strategic thinking with operational execution, and using data and financial insights to prioritize investments and improve performance.
