As Director of Test for Group 5 Mission Autonomy, you will lead the test organization responsible for evaluating the autonomy software stack and its components across progressive test environments (SITL, HITL, Flight) from inception through decommissioning. You will manage project test leads and lead test engineers executing test programs across all Group 5 Mission Autonomy programs, supporting customer and third-party engagements and relationship management.
Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating execution of multiple simultaneous test programs with internal and external stakeholders. You will deconflict test and evaluation resources between programs and manage teams responsible for test infrastructure. You will oversee the test planning process, test plan approval, test readiness reviews, test data analysis, and test artifact production. Working with project test leads, you will develop and maintain test mission scenarios, test procedures, and detailed methods of test (DMOTs). You will manage production of Anduril and customer-facing test reports, processed data packages, and verified/validated software.
This role requires deep expertise in test and evaluation of complex autonomous systems, strong program management capabilities, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
