Salary: USD 220,000 - 292,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Director of Product Sourcing Engineering to lead supply chain strategy and execution for advanced military systems. This role manages a team of sourcing engineers and subcontract managers, serving as the central point of contact for all supply chain needs across product development.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on supply continuity, quality, efficiency, and cost optimization. You will build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate complex commercial terms to achieve best-in-class pricing and service levels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, program management, and finance to resolve tradeoffs and problems proactively.
The role requires identifying and implementing process improvements, defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain health, and providing regular performance reports to management. You will lead and manage a growing team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support while hiring world-class talent. Risk mitigation is critical—you'll proactively identify and address potential supply chain disruptions and market changes.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field, with 10+ years in fast-paced manufacturing environments focused on complex mechanical/electrical assembly supply chain or production roles. At least 5+ years of leadership experience is required. You must have strong communication skills, ability to travel up to 20%, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include an MBA or master's degree in supply chain or engineering, prior experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries, and proven leadership driving large teams toward common goals.
