Passport, recently acquired by Global-e, is investing heavily in operational infrastructure to support its next growth phase. You'll lead the Origin Processing Center (OPC) network as Director of Processing Center Operations, reporting directly to the COO of Passport Global. You'll own three US sorting and processing operations (located near Newark, Los Angeles, and Chicago) and lead the launch of an expanded flagship New Jersey facility. This is a building role—you'll implement automation, develop scalable operating systems, and create an organization capable of supporting significant future growth. You'll spend substantial time on the warehouse floor coaching leaders, solving problems, and building systems from the ground up. Key responsibilities include: - Lead day-to-day execution across safety, quality, throughput, labor productivity, service levels, and cost - Launch and scale the expanded New Jersey facility with new automation, systems, labor models, and operating processes - Develop high-performing leaders, directly managing three OPC Managers and three Operations Administrators - Own the processing center operations P&L - Create standardized KPIs, operating rhythms, SOPs, and management routines across all facilities - Drive continuous improvement through Lean principles, industrial engineering, and operational analytics - Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Transportation, and Finance teams - Shape Passport's future processing center footprint, including international expansion (starting with the UK) Within 12 months, success means launching the expanded New Jersey facility, standardizing operations across US sites, increasing network capacity while improving productivity and quality, developing a high-performing leadership team, establishing KPI dashboards, delivering measurable improvements in throughput and labor efficiency, and building the roadmap for future international expansion. You bring 7+ years leading high-volume processing center, warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment operations. You've built, launched, expanded, or transformed operations—not simply maintained them. You have a strong foundation in Lean, Industrial Engineering, Six Sigma, or structured continuous improvement methodologies. You've successfully implemented warehouse automation and material handling systems. You're highly analytical, using data and KPIs to drive decisions. You love being on the warehouse floor and thrive in fast-growing environments where you can build and scale.
