Flare is an identity-first cyber threat intelligence company that monitors the dark and clear web to find exposed identities and other high-risk external threats before cybercriminals can exploit them. The company helps security teams cut through alert fatigue by identifying which threats actually matter most.
You will join as Director of Operations, reporting to the COO, with responsibility for expanding Flare's infrastructure to support aggressive growth objectives. This is a high-impact, globally-scoped role that requires cross-functional collaboration and will occasionally demand work outside normal business hours to support global teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Centralizing measurement and management of operational performance across all departments, establishing baseline measures and creating shared dashboards
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvements within and between processes company-wide
- Building a shared services function incorporating best practices in reporting, platform analytics, project tracking, change management, and procurement
- Serving as a trusted internal consultant, identifying changing departmental needs and gaps
- Facilitating annual forecasting and budgeting processes in coordination with Finance
- Building and managing a team of shared, contract, and full-time operations staff
Expected outcomes are structured in phases: within 30 days, you'll become familiar with Flare's platform and develop cross-functional relationships; within 60 days, you'll assist in budgeting and standardize project execution approaches; within 90 days, you'll lead project coordination, manage recurring reports, and create tools for evaluating strategic opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of experience in operations consulting or management roles
- Must include experience within SaaS organizations
- Prior experience within cybersecurity organizations is preferred
- Prior experience with startup/scale-up organizations is preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal, across multiple audience levels from individual contributor to executive
- Demonstrated proficiency in cross-functional project management
- Experience with integrating systems and developing automated and agentic solutions to drive efficiency and coordination
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to navigate complex technical issues
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and drive issues to resolution
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
