ComboCurve is a cloud-based software platform serving the energy sector, providing asset evaluation, reservoir management, and forecasting tools for operators, engineers, and financial teams. The company is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the marketing function on a small, high-impact team.
In this role, you will own ComboCurve's complete marketing strategy across brand, content, demand generation, product marketing, and events. You'll work closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to build pipeline, sharpen brand positioning, and drive business growth. This is a hands-on position where you'll be directly involved in writing, building, launching, testing, and analyzing campaigns alongside your team—not managing from a distance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the overall marketing strategy and roadmap
- Planning and executing meaningful events throughout the year
- Managing campaigns from concept through copy, launch, and performance analysis
- Collaborating with sales and customer success to improve inbound lead flow, qualification, and customer marketing
- Working with product on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new features
- Managing the marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, Salesforce integration, and Google Analytics
- Building dashboards and reporting that demonstrate marketing's contribution to revenue
- Developing lead scoring, segmentation, and nurture programs based on personas and customer journey
- Monitoring market and competitive landscape to keep positioning sharp and differentiated

Requirements:
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with significant time in B2B software, SaaS, or tech
- Proven experience leading marketing on a lean team where you were both strategist and executor
- Creative mindset with a track record of trying new approaches, learning quickly, and iterating
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Advanced experience with HubSpot, including marketing automation (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to set goals, track performance, and make decisions
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and customer success
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
