The IT function is evolving from reactive help desk operations into a modern IT Engineering team. Recent initiatives like passwordless authentication and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) have already measurably reduced ticket volume.
As Director of IT Engineering, you will lead the next phase of this transformation. You'll build durable engineering practices, mentor the IT team, and set multi-year strategy for how Proof manages its corporate technology stack with rigor and discipline. Key focus areas include infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, automation-first workflows, and agentic/AI-driven operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll set strategy and represent IT to the broader business while staying close to the technical work. You'll mentor team members, drive cultural shifts toward engineering excellence, and work cross-functionally to align IT initiatives with company goals. The role requires both strategic vision and willingness to roll up your sleeves on implementation.
