Altus Group is seeking a Director of Enterprise Business Applications to lead strategy, operational maturity, and evolution of the company's enterprise applications landscape. Reporting to the VP of IT Service & Operations, you will oversee critical business platforms including Salesforce, Workday, and other enterprise applications that support commercial operations, customer lifecycle management, Finance, HR, and service delivery globally.
You will partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Technology to establish structure and prioritization across competing business demands, modernize enterprise application management, and drive operational excellence. Key responsibilities include leading the enterprise applications function, establishing delivery governance and roadmap planning, managing a multidisciplinary team of business analysts, developers, and application specialists, and strengthening decision-making processes through scalable governance standards.
This role offers significant opportunity to shape how enterprise applications support business outcomes across a global organization. You will influence the function's future structure, operating model, and ways of working while helping identify opportunities to modernize workflows and leverage emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, across the enterprise applications ecosystem.
You will collaborate closely with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and delivery teams to ensure enterprise applications align with broader technology standards and long-term business objectives. The role is based in London with flexibility to work remotely and occasional travel to the Manchester office as required.
Required experience includes leadership of enterprise applications, business systems, CRM, or technology functions within complex organizations; strong Salesforce knowledge and understanding of platform governance, delivery, and integrations; exposure to Workday or other large-scale enterprise applications; and demonstrated stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels.
