Nadia Care is a healthcare services company focused on improving maternal and birth outcomes for underserved communities. The company delivers compassionate, trust-based care through a combination of in-person, virtual, and technology-enabled support, addressing social determinants of health including care navigation, doula support, lactation assistance, nutrition, housing, and transportation. You will lead the analytics function as Director of Data Analytics & Outcomes Research, building and managing a small, growing team of data scientists, analysts, and health economics/outcomes research specialists. This is a strategic role on the Senior Leadership Team with influence across the organization. Key responsibilities include: **Data Architecture & Infrastructure**: Define the conceptual structure of data systems—entity relationships, table design, key attributes, and reporting architecture. Partner closely with Engineering on technical implementation. **Outcomes Measurement & HEOR**: Build and maintain the analytical framework that identifies drivers of clinical outcomes, member retention, and ROI for payer clients. Produce clinical and cost evidence demonstrating program value. Translate findings into actionable business recommendations, not just descriptive reporting. **Analytics & Governance**: Ensure all data analyses are accurate, consistent, and repeatable across contracts and markets. Define metric definitions, data limitations, and guardrails to maintain consistency across dashboards and reporting. **Client-Facing Reporting**: Own the development of white papers, presentations, and impact briefs that communicate clinical and cost evidence to payer clients and internal leadership. Demonstrate credibility to both internal executives and external stakeholders. **Team Leadership**: Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team. Foster collaboration across Product, Engineering, and executive leadership. You will be fluent in AI as a practitioner and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where you can develop strategy and pivot when needed. **Requirements** - 8–12+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or health economics/outcomes research, including people management experience leading a data team. (PhD with 7–10 years relevant experience, or Master's with 8–12 years, acceptable) - Expert-level proficiency with statistical and analytical tools: R, Python, SQL, SAS, Excel/Google Sheets, and Tableau - Prior experience at a healthcare services company, ideally in value-based care, payer-facing roles, or managing outcomes-based contracts - Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable recommendations—defensible perspectives on what to do next, not just descriptive reporting - Expertise in data modeling (entity relationships, table layouts, metric definitions) and experience supporting C-suite executives in healthcare services companies - Strong background in health economics, statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, comparative effectiveness, or real-world evidence methodology - Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to represent data and outcomes credibly to internal leadership and external payer stakeholders - Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage environments with lean, dynamic teams
