Ellipsis Health is a voice AI healthcare company that has built Sage, an empathetic conversational AI care manager for health plans and care management teams. The company is backed by CVS Health/Aetna, Salesforce Ventures, and Khosla Ventures and is scaling enterprise partnerships in healthcare.
As Director of Customer Success, you will own the post-sales lifecycle and define how Sage is successfully deployed and scaled across enterprise healthcare organizations. This role bridges Commercial, Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure complex AI deployments translate into measurable clinical and operational outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end implementation delivery for enterprise healthcare customers, managing integrations, stakeholder alignment, and go-live readiness
- Driving adoption and measurable outcomes across accounts to ensure successful renewals and customer retention
- Developing and operationalizing land-and-expand motions across use cases and business units within customer organizations
- Establishing health scoring, lifecycle reporting, renewal forecasting, and account segmentation for proactive risk and opportunity visibility
- Partnering with Sales to ensure deals are structured for successful implementation and smooth handoffs
- Translating real-world deployment learnings into structured product feedback and implementation feasibility insights
- Building the processes, documentation, and team structure required to scale Customer Success as the company grows
This is not a traditional relationship-management focused Customer Success role. You will be an operator equally comfortable running complex customer engagements and building repeatable structure behind them. You'll work hands-on where needed while creating playbooks that make the next deployment easier than the last. The role requires strong judgment in ambiguous environments, cross-functional communication, and data-driven decision-making. Occasional travel for key customer engagements is expected.
