BinSentry is a fast-growing ag-tech company based in Kitchener, Ontario, focused on agricultural supply chain optimization. The company uses AI-powered optical sensors paired with software to help feed mills and protein producers improve forecasting, reduce costs, enhance profitability, and make better operational decisions. BinSentry currently monitors over 64,000 bins in real time across North America. The Director of Customer Success will lead the next phase of customer lifecycle maturity with a mandate to drive product adoption, value realization, and measurable customer outcomes. This role builds on an established Customer Value foundation and works with an existing Customer Value Manager, shifting focus toward deepening customer engagement, translating product capabilities into tangible ROI, and strengthening cross-functional alignment. Key responsibilities include: 1. Drive Customer Activation, Adoption & Value Realization: Define and implement a customer adoption framework across the lifecycle (onboarding through expansion), working with Product and Sales. Articulate clear customer metrics for training, engagement, adoption, and value realization by segment. Partner with customers to ensure realization of key outcomes such as efficiency gains and cost savings. Identify and address adoption barriers (product, process, training, or data-related). Support new product introduction to achieve product-market fit. 2. Own Customer Retention and Renewal Processes: Develop structured approaches to customer health scoring, renewal readiness, and expansion identification. Lead renewal strategy and process in partnership with Sales. Proactively reduce churn by identifying and mitigating risk signals. Develop and manage tiered customer support capabilities. 3. Develop Scalable Processes: Build scalable processes for onboarding, training delivery, engagement cadences, and success metrics tracking. Establish playbooks for different customer segments and use cases. Implement tools and systems to operationalize adoption at scale. The ideal candidate brings Customer Success leadership experience combined with product-oriented thinking, the ability to influence at the executive level, and capability to operationalize adoption at scale. This is a strategic role requiring cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, and Operations teams.
