SoFi is seeking a Director of Corporate Infrastructure to lead the design, implementation, and operation of the company's corporate networks. This role oversees IT Infrastructure DevOps, Security, and SRE teams, with direct accountability for the reliability, scalability, sustainability, and efficiency of SoFi's network infrastructure. As a member of the Corporate Infrastructure leadership team, you will manage the evolution and build-out of SoFi's next-generation corporate network, including infrastructure and WiFi systems. You'll oversee all aspects of network engineering and operations to improve user experience and performance, while supporting the multi-terabit backbone network that interconnects edge points of presence, corporate offices, data centers, and cloud gateways. Key responsibilities include: - Direct accountability for managing the software, hardware, and overall health of SoFi's network - Develop multi-year networking architecture, strategy, and roadmap to support evolving business needs across SoFi and its subsidiaries - Partner with Corporate Infrastructure leadership to develop and implement standards such as MDF layouts and rack elevations across the organization - Define scope, objectives, key results, and detailed execution plans for technical projects aligned with business objectives - Foster a healthy, collaborative culture that embodies SoFi's values You will lead a diverse team through highly technical problems to achieve strategic, operational, and financial goals. Strong collaboration with business lines is essential as you drive the network transformation to meet new demands and use cases. Required qualifications include 12+ years of experience in network engineering, software, and distributed systems, with 6+ years managing high-performance teams at scale. You should have technical experience scaling multi-vendor networking environments, strong engineering discipline, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into network engineering opportunities. A BS degree in a technical or engineering discipline is required or equivalent relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include networking certifications (CCNP/CCDE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking), experience with automation tools (Terraform, Datadog, Ansible), and advanced knowledge of Global Protect and ZScaler VPN solutions.
