Salary: USD 182,000 - 247,000 / annual
Devoted Health seeks a Director of Clinical Operations and Innovation to lead organization-wide efforts in delivering best-in-class clinical outcomes for their population health program. This is a strategic and operational leadership role focused on driving preventative care performance and clinical outcomes for members, including cancer screenings, diabetic eye exams, and kidney function testing.
You will own performance on core preventative care metrics and translate enterprise quality goals into scalable engagement strategies, tech-enabled workflows, and high-impact clinical interventions. Key responsibilities include designing organization-wide strategies across a portfolio of clinical outcome metrics, managing performance against operating KPIs, and partnering with Clinical, Member Experience, Product, Technology, and frontline teams to design and implement solutions.
Your role sits at the intersection of technology, clinical excellence, and member experience. You will identify and shape opportunities to improve member health outcomes at scale, drive innovations that accelerate performance, and translate strategy into reality through both direct management and leadership through influence.
Required qualifications include 6+ years in high-ownership operator roles driving performance improvement in complex, regulated environments using data-driven approaches. You should be comfortable with scrappy execution, fast cycles, and moving quickly while maintaining rigor. Strong analytical thinking is essential—you'll build sophisticated models, leverage business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Looker, Power BI), and think algorithmically about multi-step processes.
You'll need demonstrated leadership impact across organizational levels, whether through direct management or matrix reporting relationships. Excellent communication skills are critical for distilling complex operational and clinical concepts for diverse audiences. Experience refining complex workflows and identifying structural improvements to drive key results is valued.
Desired experience includes learning quickly in complex operational domains, curiosity about emerging technologies (particularly AI/LLMs), and sophisticated data analysis skills with understanding of metric pitfalls and probabilistic thinking. You report to the Senior Director of Preventive Health with high visibility across executive leadership.
